Hi everyone :)
First, thanks to everyone that kept sending me covers and if I owe you anything please don't hesitate to write, my email is right there.
Now, due to a constant traveling for long periods of time I have not been able to continue with this blog, I am very sorry about this if you came to see your cover published or just to read the blog. I will publish everything that has come to me and later add comments about it, there is not going to be a any order in particular but just try to gather the same sender.
A little about what is going to happen, I am trying to save some money to go to Europe next year, I have never been there (only Moscow a few days)so Spain, France and maybe Italy, if i can save enough, will be my destination. Of course I would love to see more, but the euro is expensive. This translates in less covers and more saving but i think it is going to be worth the last penny.
Please, if you want to exchange a cover tell me, I still love them and I´ll never quit this hobby.
Take care and best wishes.
Mónica

Thanks Giovanni for this great cover with special cancellation celebrating the 10th anniversary success of "Geronimo Stilton: Geronimo Stilton is the editor in chief of The Rodent’s Gazette, the most famous daily newspaper on Mouse Island, but his true passion is to write books, which become all bestsellers. He likes to read books, he enjoys listening to classical music, plays golf, even collects antique, 18th century cheese rinds, of all things! He adores his work and his family, but he hates to travel, because he gets airsick, seasick and carsick. Nonetheless, he often gets involved by Thea and his relatives and friends in extreme situations and adventures all around the world". Wikipedia

Pakistan

This is a first :) and a very good one indeed, Pakistan 2009 National Year of Environment, they issued 4 triangular shaped stamp with a flower (Jazmin), a tree (Deodar), a bird(Chukar)and a goat-antelope (Markhor), had to google for this last one, was not sure what kind of goat it was. And I believe this four are the national representatives of the country in terms of biodiversity.
There is also another stamp from 2009 with the legend "United for Peace".
One stamp from 2010 commemorating the 2010 Singapore youth olympic games.
And another one with a panoramic view of Gwadar Port.
Thank you very much Mr Shamshad Ahmad.

Topics I like to collect in mint condition are trains and ships, and I received this cover with both of those kind of stamps, and the best of them is how old they are, I took a quick look in google if i can see the year of issue but could not find it for the train stamps but the ships have the year 1969, I was not even born yet ;)
ありがとう Mr Kobayashi.
Filipinas

This excellent cover from Philippines features the complete series commemorating the 300 years of devotion to our lady of Peñafrancia. I am going to quote the Philpost on the issue of this series:
"The Feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is a one-week affair that starts on the second Friday of September when the miraculous Ina is transferred from her shrine to the centuries-old Naga Metropolitan Cathedral. This procession is locally called traslacion where the miraculous images of Our Lady of Peñafrancia and of the Divino Rostro journey to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Naga City for a Novena and Holy Masses. This began in 1885 and ushers in the week long festivities in the locality. A nine-day novena and prayers are held in her honor. This event is considered as the biggest and most popular religious event in the Philippines".
Nice, kinda like 12 de diciembre in Mexico the day of La Virgen de Guadalupe.
Thanks to John Paul :)

Sudafrica

First I have to say, thank you time for not stopping and days for passing, 12 de Noviembre dia del cartero is gone, no more horrible stamps on my covers, this is the last one.
From South Africa with 3 stamps, two of them have the mascot of the world cup, no normal shaped stamps but very nice ones, the other one has a coral fish.
Thanks Marten.
España

The stamp is part of a very pretty souvenir sheet, called Tapestry National Heritage (I think that is the proper translation) issued on 2010. I personally love souvenir sheets and when I see someone at the post office tear them apart I just look the other way cause I think then they are just wasting them, and when I have to tear one apart I sit there and think about it for half an hour hahaha thinking about the pros and cons, but thats just my philatelic state of mind. Gracias Emilio.
